This means the wood is ethically sourced in compliance with either the European Union Timber Regulation (EUTR) or with the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species (CITES). Both have been established to prevent illegal logging and to promote sustainable forestry practices.
This means the origin of the of each piece of timber is verified and traceable. Every product on the website with the leaf logo is sustainably sourced.
Porter Designs also collaborated with Earthworm to plant 10,000 trees in Haryana, India with the goal of adding increasing tree cover and restoring biodiversity to farms.

We believe in supporting this tradition of craftsmanship, which is reflected in the heritage quality construction of our furniture.
